Industrial Portfolio

As a

New York (NYC) industrial photographer,

with over 25 years of experience, I’ve captured diverse industries including transportation, manufacturing, mining, telecommunications, construction, and power plants. Industrial photography presents unique challenges due to safety concerns and complex environments.

One memorable project involved photographing a water tunnel construction 100 feet beneath the Hudson River. This required safety training and specialized equipment to work in the dark, damp, claustrophobic environment. I documented sandhogs, drilling platforms, and daily activities.

In Asia, I photographed an aluminum manufacturer, capturing various metal processes and automated machinery. For expansive areas, I used supplemental lighting to highlight key subjects.

In Nome, Alaska, I photographed a gold dredge mining platform on the ocean, documenting the extraction process from both on-board and distance perspectives.

Other industrial sites I’ve photographed include oil facilities, ammonia production plants, automated plastic cap production, and HVAC systems in various buildings.

Each project requires adapting to unique environments and safety protocols while capturing the essence of industrial processes and the workers who operate them.
